41-year-old Nigerian woman has gone viral after posting an emotional public appeal on social media searching for a husband, offering to fully sponsor their wedding and fund all traditional, white, and court ceremony expenses.
She expressed deep concern that time is running out and stated that “menopause is right behind me,” driving her urgent desire to experience motherhood.
She stated that she is already wealthy and financially independent, she explicitly told prospective suitors that they will not foot any bills.
She noted she does not care if the man is currently broke or unestablished. The only price he needs to pay is giving her his surname and being ready to call her his wife
She said:
“I’m a 41-year-old woman searching for a husband. Time is no longer on my side. Menopause is right behind me, which is why I am seeking a man to marry on social media. You aren’t coming to foot any bills; I am going to sponsor our wedding.”
Her statement has drawn attention online, particularly because of her openness about her age, concerns about menopause and willingness to sponsor the wedding herself.
Other users questioned her past choices, mockingly asking why she did not settle down earlier in her twenties or warning that paying for the wedding does not guarantee long-term financial peace in a home.
