Tinubu’s Son Launches Drug Banks In 60 Tertiary Healthcare Institutions

In a bid to reduce maternal and infant mortality in Nigeria, Seyi Tinubu has launched the establishment of drug banks in 60 selected tertiary healthcare institutions.

The intervention scheme, designed to provide essential drugs for a minimum of 10,000 indigent patients per selected tertiary health institution, aims to complement the federal government’s efforts in the health sector.

Speaking at the official commissioning of the intervention at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria, Pharm. Ojeje Amin Onimisi, representing Seyi Tinubu, emphasised the importance of reducing Nigeria’s high rate of infant and maternal mortality. The project will also provide medical equipment and funds for research to improve pediatric patients’ health outcomes.
