Comrade Abass Abayomi popularly known as Mr. Liberty has congratulated the newly elected National Association of University Students (NAUS) President, Comr. Dr. Meshach Anthony Nwakwo.
In a congratulatory message sighted by GISTSMATE MEDIA, Mr Liberty, NAUS South-South stakeholder secretary said the victory is a well deserved.
He said:
“On behalf of the South South Region, I heartily congratulate Comr. Dr. Meshach Anthony Nwakwo on your well-deserved emergence as the President-Elect of the National Association of University Students (NAUS).
“Your victory reflects the confidence, trust, and hope students across the country have placed in your leadership, vision, and commitment to student welfare.
“I have no doubt that your tenure will usher in a new era of unity, advocacy, and progress for Nigerian students.
“Please accept my warmest congratulations, and my assurance of full outright support as you take on this noble responsibility,” the congratulatory message reads.
GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that Comrade Meshach Anthony Nwankwo, a student from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), emerged as the National President of the National Association of University Students (NAUS) during the organization’s annual convention.
He previously served as the association’s Deputy National President for National and Campus Affairs and President of the FUNAAB Students’ Union.
