Nigerian music promoter and socialite, Sam Larry, has reportedly been hospitalised after being involved in a ghastly car crash.
Sam Larry’s car reportedly rammed into a trailer in the earlier hours of Saturday morning along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos.
The accident reportedly claimed the life of his bouncer who died on the spot.
GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that viral video and pictures from the scene of the incident showed Sam Larry’s car damaged.
The incident quickly sparked widespread reactions online as concerned fans and social media users expressed shock and wished those involved a speedy recovery.
While soliciting prayer for Sam Larry in an Instagram post on Saturday evening, Nigerian comedian and MC, Mario Wazobia wrote “PRAY FOR SAMMYLARRY.”
Sharing pictures, he said “More photos from the early morning accident involving socialite Sam Larry and his bouncer. Reports indicate the bouncer tragically lost his life at the scene while Sam Larry has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition.”
No official statement had also been released by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) or the Nigeria Police Force regarding the reported crash.
In another development, GISTSMATE MEDIA reported that a housewife, Mrs Maria Adoga, has told an Upper Area Court Makurdi, Niger State, that her husband, Moses was an alcoholic who abuses her.
Maria, in a divorce suit said she got married to Moses in 2013 under the Idoma Tradition Laws and later had a church wedding at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Ugbokolo in Okpokwu LGA but the marriage has broken down irretrievably.
She stated that their marriage is blessed with three children.
“During our courtship and early part of our marriage, my husband was loving, but he later became hostile towards me.
