The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has advised candidates with pending admission offers to log into its Central Admissions Processing System and either accept or reject the offers immediately.
The advice was contained in a video explainer shared on JAMBโs official social media platforms on Friday, as the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session gets underway.
The board urged candidates not to delay in checking their admission status, stressing that those who have received offers must take the necessary action on the platform.
According to JAMB, candidates can access their admission status by logging into their JAMB e-Facility accounts, clicking on โAdmission Statusโ and then accessing CAPS.
โIf you have an admission offer, accept or reject the offer with immediate effect,โ the board stated in the video.
JAMB also urged candidates to regularly check their CAPS profiles and act on any admission offers displayed on their dashboards, warning against delays or assumptions about their admission status.

JAMB Introduces Home Oโlevel Verification
The latest directive comes days after JAMB announced a new arrangement allowing candidates to verify and upload their Oโlevel results from home without visiting a Computer-Based Test centre.
The development was announced by the boardโs Acting Director, Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement shared on X on Monday.
Benjamin said JAMB had facilitated the verification of candidatesโ Oโlevel results directly with the examination bodies responsible for conducting the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, beginning with the West African Examinations Council.
He said candidates could now upload their Oโlevel results from home while JAMB verifies the results directly with the issuing examination bodies.
The board said the initiative would provide candidates with a convenient alternative, particularly during periods of high patronage and network challenges at CBT centres.
