A 17-year-old girl (name withheld) has been reportedly gangraped by four men gang led by one Ojasope, GISTSMATE MEDIA gathered.
The incident happened at Ago-Iwoye area of Ogun state.
In a video posted by TMC, a popular freelance journalist and activist in Ogun state, Ojasope, who is said to be ex-boyfriend of the victim orchestrated the rape.
The victim said she was on her way back from tailor’s shop when he was accosted by Ojasope and three others.
He was lured into a house and two of the four men (Jasope and one other Muiz) took turns of her, while two others watched (allegedly took video of the shameful event).
The victim said she told her mother about the incident and it led to confrontation after Jasope’s mother was confronted.
According to account of the victim, the accused is said to be living at Koroko area of Ago-Iwoye.
She also disclosed that a friend whose room was used (in absentia) described Jasope Mother’s shop to the victim family.
During confrontation, Jasope’s mother threatened to post the nude video of the victim online if she continue to press accusations.
According to the footage, the victim family proceeded to report the case at the Ago-Iwoye police station but the accused family has fled their house before officers arrival.

In another development, GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that the Ogun State Ministry of Justice has provided an update on two high-profile gender-based violence (GBV) cases that have attracted widespread public attention across the state.
In a statement issued by the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwasina Ogungbade, SAN, the Ministry clarified developments surrounding the alleged rape of Miss Nsikak Abigael Emem, popularly known as Mirabel, and the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl in Ifo Local Government Area.
According to the Ministry, investigations by relevant authorities, as well as Mirabelโs own admissions, established that the rape allegation was false and deliberately fabricated.
The statement noted that there was consequently no offender to be apprehended or prosecuted in connection with the claim, and no threat to public safety arising from the narrative initially presented. READ MORE
