The Imole Campaign Council has pledged to mobilise 1.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election after appointing Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as the state coordinator of the president’s campaign council.
The council said the Accord Party’s political structure in Osun State would support Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The council’s Director-General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, made the pledge in a statement on Tuesday, welcoming Adeleke’s inclusion in the revised list of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 election.
Adeleke was named the Osun State Coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council. Other prominent figures listed include the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori; and Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo.
Oyewumi said, “The Imole Campaign Council welcomes the appointment of Governor Adeleke as State Coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council in Osun.
“The appointment is a well-deserved one. We assure the President that his confidence in Governor Adeleke’s ability to deliver Osun in the Presidential election will not be misplaced.
