Full List: Meet The 68 Nigerians Nominated To Represent The Nation Abroad

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a list of 68 nominees for ambassadorial positions to the Senate for screening and confirmation.

The list includes both career diplomats and well-known public figures. Some of the prominent nominees are former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (rtd.); former presidential aide Ita Enang; former Imo State First Lady Chioma Ohakim; and former Minister of Interior and former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd.).

The letter containing the nominations was read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during Thursday’s plenary. President Tinubu asked lawmakers to fast-track the screening process so that critical diplomatic positions abroad can be filled quickly.
