Volunteers Storm Abuja As Renewed Hope Movement Gains Nationwide Momentum

The political atmosphere in Abuja came alive on Friday as supporters and grassroots mobilisers from across Nigeria gathered at the headquarters of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Lake Chad Crescent, Maitama, for the formal inauguration of the More for Renewed Hope Volunteer Network, a civic-driven platform established to strengthen nationwide grassroots engagement and support for the second-term aspiration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The inauguration, held on May 22, 2026, was described by participants and political observers as a significant milestone in the growing nationwide mobilisation for continuity, stability and inclusive nation-building under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The event attracted committed members and volunteers from Osun, Ogun, Niger, Kano, Akwa Ibom, Lagos and Oyo States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory, reflecting the expanding acceptance and growing structure of the movement across the country.

Among dignitaries and members present at the programme were Mr. Zaradeen Abdullahi, Mr. Lukman Ishola, Mr. Abiola Ishola, Ms. Damola Hammed, Alhaji Raji Rasaki, Mr. Baqil Ayeloja, Mr. Emmanuel Reginald, Alhaji Bamidele Mohammed, Mr. Hadji Gbadebo Jelil Alim, Mr. Abeeb Oluwaseun, Mr. Owolabi Laguda and Mr. Kabiru Adisa.

The organisers expressed gratitude that all members who attended the programme safely returned to their various destinations after the successful inauguration.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Kabiru Adeniyi Adisa FCA delivered a strategic keynote address outlining the vision, objectives and operational framework of the More for Renewed Hope Volunteer Network.

According to him, the movement was established to provide a structured platform for grassroots mobilisation and civic participation in support of the re-election of President Tinubu.

He explained that the Network was built on the principles of structured civic engagement, discipline, accountability, inclusive participation, community feedback mechanisms and nationwide coordination.

Adisa disclosed that the movement had set a strategic target of mobilising at least seven million verified votes across Nigeria in support of continuity and national stability.

He stressed that the initiative was not merely a political campaign structure but a civic-oriented platform aimed at strengthening democratic participation, responsible leadership engagement and national cohesion.

โ€œOur mission goes beyond politics. We are building a movement that promotes responsible citizenship, grassroots participation and constructive engagement between leadership and the people,โ€ he said.

Also speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Israel Akinloye, who represented the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, commended members of the Network for their commitment, sacrifice and organisational efforts.

He officially confirmed that the More for Renewed Hope Volunteer Network had been incorporated into the database of the Tinubu Support Group following its demonstrated seriousness and investment in mobilisation activities.

Akinloye noted that the Network had already shown visible commitment through the production of campaign materials including caps, pamphlets, banners, branding materials and other mobilisation resources.

He further advised members to immediately commence comprehensive data documentation of supporters and volunteers across all levels, including names, telephone numbers, ward details, polling units, Local Government Areas, voter card numbers, dates of birth and other relevant mobilisation information.

According to him, support groups would be assessed and classified based on operational capacity and grassroots strength into national, state and local government categories.

He urged members to return to their communities and intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of future political engagements.

โ€œThis is the time to go back and start working,โ€ Akinloye charged participants.

The leadership of the Network also expressed profound appreciation to donors, supporters and well-wishers who contributed financially, morally and materially towards the success of the inauguration.

Special recognition was given to a committed member who provided accommodation and feeding for participants throughout their stay in Abuja, a gesture described as a demonstration of sacrifice, hospitality and dedication to the movement.
