Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has said that they will teach Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State a political lesson.
GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that Fayose said this during an interview on Channels Television.
According to him, Makinde has stolen the land of the deities, warning that the deities will retrieve their land from him.
“We will teach Makinde a political lesson. If you respect me, you will get all my values and support, but if you disrespect me, you will get the downside of Fayose. I’m not a politician that is taken for granted.
“Makinde destroyed the South West Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and took my structure. When we are in politics, we are meant to be fair.
“Declaring for presidency was his undoing. He has the right to contest for president but we don’t betray trust. Elections are not far away again. We will get there,” he said.

In another development, GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has dismissed online criticism of his administration following his re-election victory, insisting that social media commentary has no influence on electoral outcomes.
Oyebanji spoke on Sunday after securing a second term in office following the June 20 governorship election in Ekiti State.
Addressing supporters, the governor said political judgment is ultimately made at the ballot box, not on digital platforms, adding that performance and direct engagement with citizens remain the real determinants of electoral success.
