Former Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has stated that none of the people campaigning against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can improve Nigeria.
He made the statement while interacting with Nigerian interviewer, Seun Okinbaloye on a program titled Mic on Podcast.
This came ahead of the presidential election in 2027.
In the video that surfaced online, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed stated that even the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi cannot improve Nigeria.
He said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has performed woefully. He advised the President to start preparing his handover note because he will be leaving the office very soon.
According to Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed; “I will advise Uncle Tinubu to prepare to handover and leave. And not to the people contesting against him because none of them will improve Nigeria including Peter Obi”.
President Bola Tinubu Is seeking re-election on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Tinubu is facing a stiff competition from Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peter Obi of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and Seyi Makinde of Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
