Human rights activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has responded to the comments made against him by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
Wike had accused Adeyanju of being jobless, recalling that the Kogi-born activist had approached him to support his (Adeyanju) ambition to emerge as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s national publicity secretary.
Addressing journalists in Abuja today, Adeyanju described Wike as “a bully and a coward.”
He stated: “Wike has never worked anywhere in his life. He is a serial betrayer. The only difference between Wike and Portable is that Portable does not betray people that have helped him.
“I commend Governor Fubara for dealing decisively with him. That’s how to deal with tyrants. You reduce them to nothing and show them they are nothing. Wike is nothing without politics.
“The reason why he is making so much noise and constituting a nuisance all over the place is because of our political patrimony that he loots.
