The ministry of water resources and sanitation has earmarked N140 million for the supply of laptops, iPads, and Android phones to support youths in Fufore/Song federal constituency, Adamawa state.
The 2026 budget document, reviewed by TheCable, showed that the allocation is to enhance their knowledge in information and communication technology (ICT).
The ministry also budgeted N10.5 million for the rehabilitation of water supply at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Eleke Nowasi Obohia, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Imo state.
Another N28 million was earmarked for the annual routine maintenance of hydrometeorological stations within its area of jurisdiction.
The water resources ministry also earmarked N1.4 million to support women farmers within the authority’s catchment area.
In Adamawa state, N49 million was allocated for the construction of a 1,000-seater town hall in Jada town, while N210 million was set aside for the renovation and furnishing of selected primary and secondary schools across Fufore/Song federal constituency.
The document further showed that N140 million was proposed for the construction of examination centres in selected schools across Fufore/Song constituency, Adamawa state.
In the same state, N70 million was also allocated for the construction of police staff quarters in Malabu community, Fufore LGA.
Furthermore, N140 million was budgeted for the construction of one block of two classrooms with furniture, instructional materials, and a hand-pump borehole in selected communities of Takai/Sumaila federal constituency, Kano state.
The ministry earmarked N70 million for the reconstruction of the Cottage Hospital in Garba Chede, Bali LGA, Taraba state.
In Taraba state, the ministry also earmarked N21 million for the construction and furnishing of a town hall in Gashaka, Gashaka LGA, and N36.4 million for the construction of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) quarters in Gassol town.
Additionally, N31.5 million was allocated for “information and communication technology (ICT) development”.
On April 17, President Bola Tinubu signed the N68.32 trillion 2026 appropriation bill into law.
