‎Osun Community Leaders Endorse Adeleke’s Re-election, Cite Grassroots Impacts

The State Executives and Local Government Coordinators of the Osun State Community Development Council (CDC) have passed a vote of confidence in the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, citing clear progress in community development and responsive governance across the state.

‎The decision was reached at a strategic meeting attended by CDC’s leadership from all local government areas.

After a detailed review of ongoing projects and government interventions at the grassroots level, the council unanimously endorsed Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term in office.

‎The Council stated that the administration has maintained consistent engagement with community structures, including Community Development Associations, traditional institutions, youth groups, and women leaders.

Members noted that this approach has improved coordination, strengthened local participation, and ensured that government policies align with the needs of the people.

‎According to the Council, key areas of impact include rehabilitation of rural infrastructure, support for community-driven projects, and improved access to basic services in underserved areas.

The CDC leadership affirmed that these efforts have delivered tangible results across communities and have contributed to social and economic stability within the state.

‎The Council also acknowledged the administration’s openness to feedback and its willingness to work closely with community representatives. Members emphasized that this level of access has enhanced accountability and accelerated project delivery at the grassroots level.

‎In view of these developments, the CDC leadership expressed confidence in the ability of Governor Ademola Adeleke to sustain the current pace of development. They called on residents across Osun State to support the administration’s re-election bid in order to maintain continuity and consolidate on existing achievements.

‎The meeting was hosted by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Engagement, Hon. Sulaimon Musa Olalekan, who reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive governance, stakeholder collaboration, and sustained grassroots development.

‎The Osun State Community Development Council reaffirmed its readiness to continue working with the state government to advance community interests and ensure that development reaches every part of the state.
