Alhaji Akeem Bodunrin, the Chairman of the Ogun State Park Management Services (OGSPAM), popularly known as Iyeru, has died.
Bodunrin reportedly passed away on Friday evening at his residence in Ogun State, according to family sources.
The prominent transport union leader was a major figure in the state’s transport sector, where he played a central role in the administration of motor park operations and the coordination of transit activities across Ogun State.
His death is expected to generate reactions among transport workers, union members, associates and residents who knew him during his years of leadership within the sector.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of his death had not been disclosed by the family.

In another development, GISTSMATE MEDIA reports Bamanga Tukur, a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and presidential aspirant in the Third Republic, has passed away at the age of 90.
Family sources confirmed Mr Tukur’s passing on Saturday, though detailed circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately made public.
