TikTok personality Jarvis has clarified that her husband, fellow content creator Peller, is not financially responsible for her extended family, insisting that his primary obligations are to her and their baby.
Jarvis made the clarification amid an online dispute between the couple over her sister and Peller’s involvement in her life.
Explaining her position, Jarvis said she independently takes care of her family and does not expect her husband to assume responsibility for them.
“I take care of my family. I just want that to be clear. My husband is not responsible for my family. God forbid, I’ll never let that kind of thing happen,” she said.
She explained that she deliberately limited interactions between her relatives and Peller to prevent them from placing demands on him.
According to Jarvis, even her grandmother’s contact with Peller is limited to occasional greetings when he is with her.

Jarvis also addressed the controversy surrounding a phone reportedly purchased for her sister, explaining that she had asked Peller to help her obtain the device because she was outside Nigeria and had been promising her sister one for a long time.
She rejected suggestions that Peller had independently taken on the responsibility of providing for her sister.
“It’s not that he got my sister a phone. I only told him, ‘Help me get my sister a phone,’ because I’m not in Nigeria. I’ve been promising her a phone for too long, and he helped me to get it for her,” she explained.
The clarification comes as the couple’s disagreement over her sister’s affairs draws attention online, bringing their views on family obligations and financial boundaries within marriage into focus.
Jarvis maintained that while she continued to support her relatives, she does not want that responsibility transferred to her husband, distinguishing between occasional assistance and an ongoing financial obligation.
