The husband of 36-year-old Anulika Onyeanusia, who was arrested by the Anambra State Police Command over the alleged sexual abuse of her underage daughter, has recounted how he discovered the incident.
Ikechukwu Onyeanyusi said he was returning from his business on Thursday evening when a friend contacted him and showed him a video allegedly showing his wife sexually abusing their daughter.
Speaking in a video posted on Saturday by the Anambra State Ministry of Women and Social Welfare, Onyeanyusi said he was shocked after seeing the video and initially struggled to believe what he had witnessed.
He said he confronted his wife about the video, but she denied the allegation and claimed that it had been generated using artificial intelligence.
According to him, he returned to his friend and sought clarification on whether the video could have been created using AI.
He said police officers arrived at his residence shortly afterwards, searched the premises and arrested his wife.
Onyeanyusi said his wife later admitted to the allegation while being questioned at the police station.
He said the admission left him devastated, adding that he could not understand how his wife could allegedly abuse their own daughter.

The couple resides in Onitsha, where police officers reportedly recovered sex toys and other items said to be relevant to the ongoing investigation.
The Anambra State Police Command had earlier said the suspect was arrested on September 10 following open-source intelligence concerning a disturbing viral video allegedly showing a woman sexually abusing a minor.
The command said four children, aged two, three, six and nine, were rescued during the operation.
Police said the suspect remained in custody as investigators worked to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged offence and determine whether other individuals were involved.
In a separate video of her questioning, Onyeanusia allegedly told investigators that she uploaded content involving her daughter on a pornographic platform for money, with the highest amount she reportedly earned being $300.
She reportedly blamed the devil for her actions and pleaded for forgiveness, while maintaining that her husband was unaware of the alleged abuse.
Anambra State First Lady, Dr Nonye Soludo, condemned the alleged abuse, describing it as beyond comprehension.
She also pledged to closely monitor the case and ensure that the affected children receive the necessary medical, psychological and rehabilitation support.
