Hon. Sulaimon Musa Olalekan, Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor on Community Engagement, has extended his warm congratulations to the Special Adviser on Media and Spokesperson to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, on the occasion of his recent installation and turbaning as the Asiwaju of Alafiatayo Town and Baba Adeen of Alafiatayo Town Central Mosque, Odo Oba, Iwo, Osun State.
The well-attended ceremony, which attracted traditional rulers, religious leaders, political stakeholders, and members of the community, marked a significant milestone in the life of Mallam Olawale Rasheed.
The twin honours reflect his long-standing commitment to public service, community development, and the promotion of unity and peaceful coexistence.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Sulaimon Musa Olalekan described the installation as well-deserved, noting that Mallam Rasheed has consistently demonstrated humility, dedication, and integrity in both public office and community engagements.
He emphasized that the titles of Asiwaju and Baba Adeen are symbols of trust, leadership, and moral responsibility, which Mallam Rasheed has earned through years of selfless service.
“Mallam Olawale Rasheed’s recognition by his community and religious institution is a testament to his positive impact, not only as a media professional and government spokesperson, but also as a bridge-builder and advocate for societal progress,” Hon. Sulaimon stated.
He further prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for Mallam Rasheed as he assumes these revered traditional and religious responsibilities, urging him to continue to use his influence to promote peace, development, and good governance in Alafiatayo Town, Iwo, and Osun State at large.
Hon. Sulaimon concluded by wishing the newly installed Asiwaju and Baba Adeen a successful tenure filled with impactful service to humanity.
