In a grand gesture of goodwill and appreciation, former APC House of Reps Aspirant, Hon. Tosin Morufu Ibraham Murphy, has distributed over 300 bags of rice to Muslim community in Akoko Northwest/Northeast Federal Constituency ahead of the Ileya celebration.
This thoughtful act is part of his ongoing effort to empower his constituents and make a positive impact in their lives.
The beneficiaries of this humanitarian act were visibly elated, showering praises on Murphy for his kindness and generosity. “He’s a man with a good heart who always wishes well for others,” one beneficiary said, echoing the sentiments of many.
The event, which held in Akoko on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, was attended by prominent APC stakeholders, who came to show their support for Murphy’s commendable initiative.
Islamic clerics who spoke at the event lauded Murphy as a consistent, dependable, and humane politician, praying for his success and continued influence in the constituency.
“Though he didn’t emerge as a candidate in the primary, he remains a popular figure among the people,” one cleric noted. The program was coordinated by Campaign DG, Hon. Peter Orojo, who ensured the smooth execution of the event.
Murphy’s gesture has undoubtedly won him more hearts and reinforced his connection with the people of Akoko Northwest/Northeast.
