The Member representing Ibadan North State Constituency I in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Chief Mrs. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, has welcomed pupils and students across the constituency and beyond back to school for the new academic session, reaffirming her commitment to the promotion of quality education and the development of young people.
Hon. Comforter, in a back-to-school message made available to newsmen via her media team, described education as a fundamental foundation for individual growth, community development and a prosperous future.
She encouraged pupils and students to approach the new academic session with diligence, discipline and determination, urging them to remain focused on their studies and make the most of the opportunities provided through education.
According to her, achieving quality education requires the collective efforts of parents, teachers, government and other stakeholders. She therefore called for continued collaboration to ensure that children have access to quality learning and a safe, supportive and conducive environment in which they can thrive.
She further urged parents and guardians to provide the necessary support and guidance for their children, while encouraging teachers to continue to inspire, mentor and nurture the next generation.
Addressing the students, Hon. Comforter said: “Learn, grow, achieve and succeed. Your education is an investment in your future and the future of our society.”
She expressed optimism that the new academic session would bring increased knowledge, wisdom and outstanding achievements for students across the constituency.
Hon. Comforter reiterated her commitment to initiatives that promote educational development and improve opportunities for young people, stressing that investing in education remains essential to building a stronger and more prosperous society.
