The Federation Account Allocation Committee, FAAC, shared N2.257 trillion among the Federal Government, states and local councils for April 2026.
The breakdown was disclosed Monday in Abuja by OAGF Director of Press Bawa Mokwa after the May 2026 FAAC meeting.
โ Revenue Breakdown
The N2.257 trillion comprised:
โ Statutory revenue: N1.260 trillion
โ VAT: N747.088 billion
โ Augmentation: N250 billion
FAAC said N3.184 trillion gross revenue was available in April. Deductions included N113.756 billion for cost of collection and N813.839 billion for transfers, refunds and savings.
โ Collections Rose
Gross statutory revenue hit N2.378 trillion, up N678.224 billion from N1.699 trillion in March.
VAT gross revenue was N806.617 billion, up N142.192 billion from N664.425 billion in March.
CIT, CGT, SDT, Import Duty, Oil & Gas Royalty and VAT all increased significantly.
Petroleum Profit Tax and Hydrocarbon Tax fell considerably, while Excise Duty and CET Levies dipped marginally.

From the N2.257 trillion distributable revenue:
โ Federal Govt: N787.351 billion
โ State Governments: N772.360 billion
โ Local Councils: N540.152 billion
โ Derivation 13%: N157.254 billion to oil-producing states
From N1.260 trillion statutory revenue: FG got N580.942 billion, states N294.661 billion, LGs N227.172 billion, plus N157.254 billion derivation.
From N747.088 billion VAT: FG N74.709 billion, states N410.898 billion, LGs N261.481 billion.
From N250 billion augmentation: FG N131.700 billion, states N66.800 billion, LGs N51.500 billion.
