The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency I in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Inclusion has charged Christians to maintain love, kindness, and forgiveness toward everyone, irrespective of faith differences, just as God has shown to the human race.
Hon. Comforter made this statement while extending her Easter greetings to Christians, her constituents, residents of Ibadan North, the people of Oyo State, and Nigerians across the country in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
According to a statement signed by her media team and made available to the press, Hon. Comforter conveyed the greetings in a message marking the 2026 Easter celebration and reemphasized that living by love, kindness, and forgiveness allows peace to coexist with religious harmony. She said:
“As we celebrate this season of resurrection and new beginnings, I wish every home joy, peace, and abundant blessings. May this Easter bring hope to the hopeless, comfort to the weary, and renewed strength to us all. Let us embrace love, kindness, forgiveness, unity, and faith today and always, fostering peaceful coexistence.”
The lawmaker explained that the Easter season is a time for reflection, gratitude, and community solidarity, encouraging citizens to care for one another and spread kindness. She also offered a prayer for the nation, stating:
“May our nation experience renewed hope, harmony, and progress. May peace reign in our hearts and communities, and may we continue to work together for the common good.”
Hon. Comforter concluded her message by reflecting on her continued commitment to the welfare of her constituents and her desire to continue to inspire hope and unity during this meaningful season and beyond.
