Dr Olamide B. Junaid has been cleared for take-off. The businesswoman, humanitarian and public affairs advocate has been named a member of the Directorate of Air Transport Mobilisation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
The directorate sits within a structure led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as chairman, with Vice President Kashim Shettima as Vice Chairman.
Across its directorates, the council’s work spans election planning, mobilisation, infrastructure, security and intelligence, administration, stakeholder mobilisation and media.
As its name suggests, Dr Junaid’s directorate will focus on rallying support within the air transport community.
Her new assignment may sit in the skies, but her record has been built firmly on the ground.
Dr Junaid is the founder of the Olamide Junaid Foundation and is known as an APC stalwart and an aspirant for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat.
