DHQ Denies Fake AI-Generated Video Of CDS, Warns Public Against Misinformation

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has dismissed a fabricated video circulating on social media that falsely portrays the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General OO Oluyede, and, in some instances, misrepresents him as the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede, describing the content as misleading and unofficial.

According to the Defence Headquarters, the video did not originate from any official military source and does not reflect any communication, statement, or engagement from either the Chief of Defence Staff or the Chief of Army Staff.
