As political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of 2027 electoral engagements, a youth leader, grassroots mobilizer, and community development advocate, Comrade Julius Ilori Jafo, has commenced wide-reaching consultations and mobilization efforts across communities in Ido Local Government under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
Comrade Julius Ilori, popularly known as Jafo Eleja, is a respected youth leader whose track record in leadership, organization, and grassroots engagement has earned him recognition among young people and community stakeholders alike.
His leadership journey includes currently serving as Media and Publicity Head of Omituntun 3.0 Students Army, Former Director of Transport and Logistics of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Oyo State Axis, Former FCAH&PT Students’ Union Registrar, Former Executive Adviser on Agribusiness, NANS National, where he played strategic roles in youth development, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and organizational coordination.
Drawing from years of experience in student leadership, community development, and agribusiness advocacy, Comrade Julius Ilori is now focused on strengthening the APM structure at the grassroots level, building a formidable network of supporters, and creating a platform for meaningful engagement among residents across Zones in Ward 10, Ido Local Government.
Speaking during a recent consultation meeting, he emphasized the need for greater political participation, youth inclusion, and collective action in determining the future of the local government and the state at large.
According to Jafo, “The future belongs to those who are willing to participate in shaping it. This is the time for our people, especially the youths, to unite, organize, and take ownership of the democratic process.”
Political observers have described the move as a significant step towards deepening grassroots participation and strengthening the party’s presence across communities within wards in the local government.
As consultations continue, many stakeholders have expressed confidence in Comrade Julius Ilori’s capacity to mobilize people, foster unity, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the party and the community.
With his growing influence among youths, farmers, students, and community leaders, Jafo remains one of the emerging grassroots political figures to watch in Ido Local Government.
