Hon. Alhassan Mohammed Baba has been appointed the National Director General of the Coalition of APC Support Groups.
The appointment was announced by the Convener of the coalition, Richard M. Onyebuwa, in Abuja.
Onyebuwa said the appointment was based on Baba’s experience, commitment and contributions to supporting the administration of President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He expressed confidence that Baba would provide effective leadership and coordinate the activities of the coalition’s support groups across the country.
Baba is a community development advocate and political mobiliser with experience in youth and grassroots engagement.
In another development, GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that the Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.), has reaffirmed his support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Musa stated this in Kaduna on Friday during a meeting with local government coordinators of GCG Musawah 4 PBAT 2027, a political mobilisation structure established to canvass support for the re-election of Tinubu and Sani.
According to a statement signed and released by the Secretary of the group, James Swam, the meeting provided an opportunity for the minister to interact with the leadership of the movement, coordinators from the 23 local government areas of Kaduna State and representatives of more than 300 affiliated support and interest groups.
Addressing the gathering, Musa urged members of the group to remain determined in their mobilisation efforts, stressing the need for collective commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria. READ MORE
