Fresh reactions have emerged online after presidential aide Bayo Onanuga accused VDM of circulating a fake audio allegedly linked to President Bola Tinubu.
While some Nigerians demanded VDM’s arrest and described the alleged audio as AI-generated, others questioned the authenticity of the claims and asked for proper verification before conclusions are drawn.
Nigerians on X have continued to react to the controversy surrounding the alleged audio recording linked to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and social media critic VeryDarkMan.
The reactions followed a post by Bolaji Fesomade, who strongly defended calls for action against VDM over the viral voice note controversy.

His post immediately sparked mixed reactions from other X users, with many debating whether the alleged audio was AI-generated or authentic.

The alleged audio has continued to generate widespread debate online, with many users insisting the recording sounds artificially generated, while others maintain that authorities should investigate the source of the clip.
VDM will have to explain where the voice note came from.
Cloning the voice of the president of Africa’s largest country is a serious criminal offence.
He would face serious consequences over this.
