Atiku Abubakar Hosts ADC Stakeholders, Vows To Rescue Nigerians From APC

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar hosted a delegation of All Democratic Congress (ADC) stakeholders from Kebbi State on Wednesday afternoon.

In a post on his X handle on Wednesday, January 28, 2027, he expressed gratitude for the visit and said he was encouraged by the quality of the discussions.

According to him: “This afternoon, I hosted a delegation of ADC stakeholders from Kebbi State. I’m deeply grateful for their visit and encouraged by the quality of our discussions.”

Atiku added that the discussions focused on strategies to defeat the APC and deliver good leadership to Nigerians.

“We focused on further strengthening the ADC, and positioning it not only to defeat the APC in the next election but also to deliver guaranteed good governance to our people,” he added.

GISTSMATE MEDIA earlier reported that Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has stated that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar would not be able to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election even if he runs on a joint ticket with Peter Obi.

Musawa made the remarks during a conversation posted on Instagram by TheMicon Podcast on Saturday, describing Atiku as a “formidable opponent” while insisting he is not a match for the ruling party in 2027.

“I think I wouldn’t say I don’t think he is a match. I think he’s a formidable opponent. But I do not think in 2027 that Vice President Atiku Abubakar, as much as I admire him and he’s such a great patriot and, you know, he’s like a father of mine, I would say, but I don’t think he’s a match,” she said.

She added that even a combined Atiku–Obi ticket would fail to unseat the ruling party.
