Atiba LG APM Holds Peaceful Primary, Adopts Oseni Afees Olayimika As Consensus Chairmanship Candidate

The APM in Atiba Local Government successfully conducted a peaceful and well-organized primary congress for the emergence of its chairmanship and councilorship candidates ahead of the forthcoming local government election.

At the congress, Hon. Oseni AFEES OLAYIMIKA was unanimously adopted as the consensus candidate for the position of Chairman of Atiba Local Government.

Similarly, consensus candidates emerged for the councilorship positions across all ten wards in the local government, reflecting the unity, maturity, and commitment of party members.

The exercise was conducted in an orderly, transparent, and peaceful atmosphere, with the presence of security agencies, including the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), whose officials monitored the process and ensured the maintenance of law and order throughout the congress.

Speaking after the exercise, party leaders commended members for their discipline and cooperation before, during and after the process.

They urged all members and supporters to remain united and work together to secure electoral success at the polls.
