The leadership and entire family of Amaechi True Believers (ATB) received with deep sadness the news of the passing and burial of the mother of our leader and principal, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CON.
At a moment such as this, political affiliations, public positions and every other consideration become secondary to the reality of human loss. The loss of a mother is a deeply personal experience, and no words can fully express the pain that comes with bidding farewell to the woman who gave life, nurtured, prayed and sacrificed for her children.
On behalf of the entire ATB family, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, his siblings, children, relatives and the entire Amaechi family.
We mourn with you. We share in your grief. We pray with you.
We ask Almighty God to grant the soul of your beloved mother, Dame Ezinne Orduah Amaechi, eternal rest and to grant the entire family the strength and fortitude to endure this painful period.
Mama’s passing is undoubtedly a great personal loss, but her memory will forever remain a source of strength to those she left behind. The values she imparted, the sacrifices she made and the lives she influenced will continue to speak long after her departure.
Rt. Hon. Amaechi, as you mourn your mother, we want you to know that the people who believe in you and your vision are standing with you. Amaechi True Believers stands with you today, tomorrow and throughout the journey ahead.
Your political journey has never been without challenges. From your years of public service in Rivers State to your responsibilities at the national level, you have remained a significant participant in Nigeria’s political development.
Today, that journey has entered another important chapter. Your emergence as the Vice-Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) alongside His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, the party’s Presidential Candidate, places before you another opportunity to contribute to the national conversation and to the future direction of our beloved country.
At ATB, we understand that this responsibility is bigger than any individual. It is about the millions of Nigerians who desire better governance, stronger institutions, economic opportunity, security, justice and a country where every citizen can look forward to a better tomorrow.
It is for this reason that our commitment to your aspiration remains unwavering.
Our organisation is not merely a name or a gathering of individuals. ATB represents a growing network of Nigerians who believe in the capacity of Rt. Hon. Amaechi to contribute meaningfully to the national political process.
We are therefore prepared to take our commitment beyond statements and declarations.
As the country moves toward the next General Election, Amaechi True Believers is actively mobilising Nigerians at all levels. Our mobilisation efforts are focused on reaching the grassroots, engaging communities, building relationships and encouraging citizens to take ownership of the democratic process.
We shall continue to speak with Nigerians. We shall continue to engage young people, professionals, women, community leaders, political stakeholders and ordinary citizens. We shall continue to build structures that can effectively communicate the political message and aspirations of the Atiku-Amaechi ticket.
Our mobilisation will be peaceful, lawful and democratic. We believe Nigerians deserve to be engaged with respect, sincerity and a clear understanding of the issues that affect their daily lives.
The coming election will provide Nigerians with an important opportunity to make a choice about the kind of leadership and future they desire. ATB will be present in that conversation.
We shall be on the ground in the communities engaging the people, building bridges. And we shall continue to mobilise responsibly for the CRA legacies we believe in.
Rt. Hon. Amaechi, while you grieve the loss of your mother, please be assured that ATB remains firmly behind you.
We shall not allow this moment of sorrow to make you forget the many Nigerians who continue to look toward the future with hope. We shall carry forward the message, strengthen our mobilisation and continue to work toward a successful political campaign.
Your mother’s legacy is now part of your history, and we believe that the best tribute to her memory is to continue to pursue a life of purpose, service and positive impact.
May God give you the courage to overcome this moment.
May He strengthen your family.
May He comfort everyone who mourns with you.
And may the memory of your mother remain a blessing to you and the entire Amaechi family.
