The Nigerian government has opened application for the 2026 TVET Initiative Program, inviting young individuals to apply.
The gap between traditional classroom learning and real-world industrial needs is closing fast.
With the Federal Government TVET Initiative Program 2026, technical and vocational training in Nigeria is shifting from a secondary alternative to a primary pathway for economic independence, employment, and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Driven by the Federal Ministry of Education, this unified national model aims to bridge the skills gap by connecting government agencies, regulatory bodies, and certified local training centers under one structured framework.
The FG TVET Initiative Program for Trainers is for Skill Training Centres (STCs), Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs), and Mastercraft Persons (MCPs) who will train individuals, grow entrepreneurship, and reduce unemployment among youths.
Selected trainers will get a monthly stipend of ₦45,000 to train TVET students and will also be eligible for government funding and loans
Individuals interested in the Federal Government TVET Initiative Program should review the details, requirements, and application process provided below.
