A group of youths and students in Oluyole Federal Constituency, Oyo state has continued their utmost support for Hon. Dr. Abiodun Gbolagade, an All Progressive Congress (APC) aspirant in the primary elections.
The group restated their commitments to Oluyole development and the candidacy of Hon. Gbolagade.
GISTSMATE MEDIA earlier reported that Hon. Gbolagade, an educationist turned politician claimed he won the APC Primary conducted at Oluyole Federal Constituency.
One of his allies said “the people of Oluyole Federal Constituency have once again demonstrated, through their delegates and ward representatives, that democracy remains alive when the voice of the people is allowed to speak freely and without interference.
“The outcome of the APC House of Representatives primary election ahead of the 2027 general election, as reflected in the officially signed result sheet from Ward 07, stands today as a clear expression of that collective will.
“According to the documented and duly endorsed result sheet, Hon. Dr. Abiodun Gbolagade emerged overwhelmingly victorious with a total of 409 votes. This result was not narrow, contested, or ambiguous in any form. It was decisive, resounding, and reflective of the strong confidence reposed in him by the delegates who participated in the exercise.
“Other aspirants recorded either significantly minimal figures or no votes at all, further reinforcing the clarity of the mandate and the overwhelming nature of his acceptance within the constituency.”
Party stakeholders also backed Gbolagade and rejected any parallel election in the constituency.
Reacting to the delay in the outcome of the primary, the Youths and Students group for Gbolagade said INEC and APC must respect people’s decisions and all projects after primary elections should come with due process.
The statement reads:

Oluyole is our home. Our future is at stake.
We, the youths and student bodies of Oluyole, are watching closely. Any new project after an election must follow due process, transparency, and the will of the people.
Our primary election result is important to us. We ask INEC, APC, and all stakeholders to respect the democratic process. The mandate of the people must not be toyed with.
We support development for Oluyole Federal Constituency. But development without justice, without listening to the grassroots, will not last.
Oluyole youths are not against progress. We are against anything that sidelines fairness and the people’s choice.
We stand for:
1. Truth – Let the right result stand
2. Justice – Due process must be followed
3. Youth inclusion – Carry us along in decisions that affect us
Oluyole deserves leaders who respect the people’s voice. Gbolagade is the man we voted for the flag bearer of apc for federal honorable Oluyole constituency
