Following the recent announcement from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on voters’ registration which is to begin on August 18th, 2025, Hon Abiola Yahya Ajuwon (AA) has urged the people of Akinyele Constituency II to be responsive to this announcement.
Speaking with one of our representatives, he said, “The best that can happen to a person is to choose a worthy representative for himself in government and this begins with voters’ registration.
“As electorates, complaining about leadership is not as important as getting people of strong will to represent us and this is an individual responsibility.
“We urge our youths and elders especially in Akinyele Constituency II to come out massively starting from August 18th to get registered in order to be qualified in exercising their franchise come 2027.” Hon. Abiola reiterated.
It was believed that people, due to failed promises from previous representatives, become reluctant to participate in registration and voting exercises, but with one single vote from one positive mind for a determined representative, the story will change for better.
