President Bola Ahmed Tinubu personal assistant on constituency affairs, Hon. Kareem Khadijat Omotayo has held a strong stakeholders meeting in Katsina state over President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The meeting which included acting Governor of the state, Mallam Farouq Lawal and other bigwigs in the state highlighted fostering collaboration to drive socio-economic development, reduce poverty among others.
The statement by Hon. Khadijat reads:
A stakeholder meeting in Kastina State, led by Hon. Khadijat Kareem Omotayo, the Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, underscored the importance of aligning state-level initiatives with the federal government’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
This gathering, which included Mallam Farouq Lawal, the Acting Governor of Kastina State, and other key stakeholders, focused on fostering collaboration to drive socio-economic development, reduce poverty, and improve the quality of life for Kastina State residents.
Mallam Lawal reaffirmed Kastina State’s commitment to this vision, highlighting ongoing projects aimed at improving infrastructure, creating jobs, and enhancing security. He acknowledged that these efforts would be more impactful when integrated with federal policies.
The meeting also explored strategies for youth empowerment and job creation, recognizing the potential of Kastina’s youthful population. By focusing on sectors like agriculture, technology, and small businesses, the state aims to reduce unemployment and foster innovation.
Security, crucial for development, was another priority. The stakeholders discussed the need to support federal security initiatives while promoting local peacebuilding efforts to maintain stability in the region.
