President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar met on Friday during a Jummah prayer at the National Mosque in Abuja.
GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that this is their first meeting since the conclusion of the 2023 presidential election.
Atiku, presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was one of Tinubu’s key opponents in the election.
He garnered 6,984,520 votes but lost to Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured victory with 8,794,726 votes.
This meeting could signal a reconciliation move between the two political heavyweights.
