Love and celebration filled the ancient town of Eruwa in Oyo State on Friday, October 9th, 2026, as a former Student Union Government (SUG) President of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa (AOPE), Comrade Ashaolu Victor Samuel, tied the knot with his heartthrob, Adelakin Joan Aanuoluwapo.
The union, which has been described as a beautiful blend of love, friendship and answered prayers, began with a solemn court wedding vow exchange at the Ibarapa East Local Government Registry.
The couple sealed their commitment before the law in the presence of close family members and well-wishers.
Immediately after the registry proceedings, the celebration moved to the Adewusi Compound, Orita, Eruwa Town, where the traditional engagement ceremony was held.
The venue was lit with joy, glamour and cultural colours as family members from both sides, dignitaries, former student leaders, friends and well-wishers trooped in to celebrate with the new couple.
The groom, Ashaolu, who served as the SUG President of AOPE 2019/20 session was full of emotions as he professed his love for his bride.
