Dear IBEDC Authorities,
We, the residents of Olode Adegbayi, Aba Titi, Ile Marun, and surrounding areas, are writing to express our deep frustration and disappointment regarding the unequal distribution of electricity in our community.
The Issue:
While neighboring houses using standard/official IBEDC wires enjoy uninterrupted electricity supply, we, the black wire users, are consistently left in darkness. This disparity has persisted for months, causing undue hardship and inconvenience.
Our Concerns:
1. Unfair treatment: Why are black wire users singled out for power outages while others receive steady supply?
2. Lack of transparency: What criteria determine electricity distribution, and why aren’t black wire users informed?
3. Economic hardship: Frequent outages affect our businesses, livelihoods, and daily lives.
Our Demands:
1. Immediate restoration of electricity supply to black wire users.
2. Explanation for the disparity in electricity distribution.
3. Regular maintenance and upgrade of infrastructure to prevent future outages.
Affected Areas:
– Olode Adegbayi
– Aba Titi
– Ile Marun
– Surrounding environs
Conclusion:
We urge IBEDC to address this injustice and ensure equal access to electricity for all residents, regardless of wire type. We request a prompt response and resolution to this issue.
