In Ikare Akoko today, Ondo State. Hon. Moruf Tosin, popularly known as Hon Murphy, has continued his strategic consultations with traditional rulers as part of his aspiration for the Akoko north federal constituecy seat in the House of Representatives.
The aspirant paid a royal visit to the Owa-Ale of Ikare, His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr) Adeleke Adegbite Adedipe, where he was warmly received by the monarchâs chiefs at the palace.
Hon Murphy proceeded into the inner chamber to meet Kabiyesi in person for fatherly prayers and blessings ahead of the upcoming primaries.
In a heartwarming interaction, the Owa-Ale showered blessings on Hon Murphy and expressed delight at his ambition. The revered monarch stated that he was very happy to see a young person like Hon Murphy showing interest in leadership positions.
He noted that he has always loved seeing younger, vibrant, and capable individuals venture into public service for the development of the community.
Hon Murphy expressed profound gratitude for the royal fatherâs encouragement and fatherly blessings.
He reiterated his commitment to the progress and development of Ikare, promising to work in harmony with traditional institutions if elected.
The visit forms part of Hon Murphyâs broader tour to traditional rulers, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, and support as he prepares for the House of Representatives primaries.
