In a continued demonstration of her commitment to grassroots development and community welfare, the Oyo State lawmaker, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, has once again impacted lives through the provision of essential infrastructure in Alagbagba Community, Ashi-Bodija, Ibadan.
As part of her intervention projects, Hon. Comforter facilitated the presentation of a generator at Bodija, precisely in front of Ogundele House, to ensure a steady power supply for community use.
This gesture complements her earlier efforts on the same axis, including the refurbishment of a borehole before the 2023 general elections, aimed at improving access to clean and safe water for residents.
In further strengthening security and operational efficiency, Hon. Comforter also oversaw the installation of solar-powered lights at the newly built and commissioned Amotekun Office in the area.
The project, executed on February 14, 2026, is expected to enhance visibility, safety, and effectiveness of the local security outfit in safeguarding lives and property.
Additionally, Mount Olivet Grammar School in Alagbagba Community benefited from the lawmaker’s benevolence through the installation of solar lights within the school premises. This initiative is geared towards creating a more conducive learning environment for students and staff, while also improving security around the institution.
Beyond infrastructure, Hon. Comforter has also continued to invest in education by supporting brilliant students of Mount Olivet Grammar School with the payment of their NECO and JAMB examination fees, thereby easing the financial burden on parents and encouraging academic excellence among the youth.
All the presentations were carried out on behalf of Hon. Comforter by the Apex Team, ably led by her Senior Special Assistant, Amb. Dr. Kunle Awotiku, whose leadership ensured the smooth execution and delivery of the projects.
Residents of the Alagbagba Community could not hide their joy and appreciation, as they expressed heartfelt gratitude for the impactful interventions and timely support. Many described Hon. Comforter as a responsive and compassionate leader whose actions continue to bring meaningful development closer to the people.
