The 29-year-old mother-of-one made headlines for the first time in November 2020, when she fled the Alaafin’s palace, only to return and apologise almost a year later, tendering a public apology to the monarch on her official Instagram account.
Their tumultuous affair, which Portable confirmed in August 2023, ended following a heated disagreement during a live TikTok session.
At the time that Portable accused Queen Dammy of infidelity, a claim she denied.
Queen Dammy, the third Olori to leave the late Alaafin’s palace, shortly after her co-queen, Aanu, did, in turn, confirmed the end of the relationship, describing Portable as a “mad musician”.
In January 2025, shortly after their widely publicised breakup, a leaked audio recording allegedly capturing a conversation between Portable and Queen Dammy surfaced online.
In the recording, both parties were heard discussing the possibility of reconciling, sparking renewed public interest in their relationship.
However, following a lull, both parties have once again returned to the spotlight.
Fresh outburst
After that, little was heard about the pair until Sunday, when Portable launched a fresh verbal attack on Queen Dammy, who also made headlines after she sought love online during a reality show, via a TikTok live session.
The outburst followed comments she made during a live broadcast hosted by popular content creator Afeez “Salo” Ojesanmi, in which she claimed Portable did not exist in her life.
Angered by the remark, the singer accused Queen Dammy of publicly denying him, despite what he claimed was a recent private interaction between them.
In a viral TikTok video, Portable appealed to people from Ibadan to forgive him for past remarks he made about Queen Dammy during their breakup, insisting he had continued to support her.
Reputation Damage Attempt
“Imagine Salo asked Queen Dammy about me, and she said I didn’t exist, someone she was still involved with. People of Ibadan, please forgive me; your daughter is still with me. Ibadan, bring shows so I can take care of your children. I asked her why she did that, even though we were together the night before, and she couldn’t say anything. Now, Bewaji has taken over. I can keep secrets, but don’t deny or hide me so that God will not hide you.
“Queen Dammy and Ashabi Simple want to ruin my life whenever they meet behind my back in their houses. They even contacted my wife, but I put a stop to everything. Instead of telling the people of Ibadan to forgive me and acknowledging that I was still responsible for her upkeep and other needs, she denied me. Even when the tables turned, they still benefited from it.”
He further alleged that Queen Dammy, alongside actress Ashabi Simple, had been plotting against him, accusing them of attempting to damage his reputation.
The singer also claimed that his wife had been contacted over the matter, but said he had intervened to resolve the situation.
Queen Dammy Reacts
In response to the “Spider-Man” crooner’s claims, Queen Dammy, through her legal representatives, Jichrian Legal, issued a cease-and-desist letter signed by Ugochukwu Jonathan.
She posted the letter on her Instagram page on Monday.
The letter described Portable’s claims as false, defamatory, and misleading, and warned him to desist from making further statements that could damage her image.
Queen Dammy stated that the allegations amounted to a reckless and malicious attempt to tarnish her brand and reputation.
“Your publication of February 8 2026, on your TikTok livestream, where you boasted and made defamatory statements of “still sleeping with our client overnight “, who has long separated from you, was drawn to our notice.
“The entire publication was a reckless, wicked and dangerous play to impugn the brand and reputation of our client and to further lower her in the estimation of right-thinking members of the public.”
Demands
Furthermore, Queen Dammy demanded that Portable immediately retract what she described as an “offensive and derogatory publication.”
She also insisted that he issue a public apology across all platforms on which he had circulated the alleged defamatory statements.
She stressed that the claims were made without any moral or factual justification.
Warning of further action should Portable fail to comply, she outlined her following line of action, stating that, “Take note, that if we do not receive your form! retraction and apology within 24, twenty-four hours, the receipt hereof, we shall proceed with our client instruction to seek appropriate legal remedies, including monetary damages, against you for your wicked publication and dissemination of defamatory statements.”
Evidence
The “Your Papa No Be Army” crooner reacted to Queen Dammy’s demands in a series of videos posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
He claimed that he always sent Queen Dammy money.
The singer went further to post an audio recording of a phone conversation between himself and Queen Dammy, during which they discussed her alleged denial of him during a live session hosted by Salo.
In the recording, Queen Dammy was heard accusing Portable of failing to pay the money he promised her.
The singer, in response, questioned her claims, noting that she had earlier stated during the live session that he was no longer part of her life.
In another video, Portable said he was seeking justice, accusing Queen Dammy of double-dating him despite all he claimed to have done for her.
He also threatened to have her arrested, alleging that she was attempting to defraud him.
