Adaobi Alagwu’s Family Returns Dowry To Billionaire Businessman, Tunde Ayeni Amid DNA Dispute

GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that the family of Adaobi Alagwu has returned her dowry to billionaire businessman, Tunde Ayeni.

The dowry was returned amid court proceedings in the ongoing DNA saga between the businessman and Abuja-based lawyer.

In a viral video, the representative of Adaobi family said “We are here to return her dowry and if we agree together, she will cease to have anything to do with Tunde.

“She will cease in communication and the other part of the family will go into withdrawal, so that everybody will love their normal life. As far as everybody is concerned Adaobi ceases to have anything to do with Tunde today.

“By the grace of God, we have resolved to move our lives forward.”

Earlier, the legal representatives of Adaobi had refuted claims that she was never married to the businessman, just as they restated her position that Mr Ayeni is the biological father of her daughter, Omarosa Abimbola Ayeni.

The legal counsel in a statement said that the traditional marriage rites between Ms Alagwu and Mr Ayeni were lawfully conducted, including the payment of the bride price.

Alagwu’s lawyers also maintained that her pregnancy for her daughter, Omarosa Abimbola Ayeni occurred before the marriage rites and DNA Diagnostics Centre (DDC), United Kingdom, a globally recognised genetic testing institution affirmed that she is Ayeni’s child.

Ayeni had described the DNA result as compromised and unreliable

He said the result was initially scheduled for release within five days. However, a letter later surfaced, purportedly from the testing centre, extending the date by two days.

Ayeni added that upon contacting the centre directly, they said that they had no knowledge of the letter or the individual who signed it.

“This document does not reflect the genuine results we expected. It became necessary to address this matter publicly due to the inconsistencies we observed during the testing process.

“We discovered irregularities suggesting that an external party may have accessed our email communication with the laboratory. As a result, we lost confidence in the process and sought a new test from a different facility, which Ms Alagwu declined,” he said.
