Media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa, has opened up about her personal experience with motherhood, revealing why she stopped breastfeeding her newborn daughter just three weeks after birth.
Makinwa made the revelation during a Snapchat Q&A session after a fan questioned why she was no longer breastfeeding.
Responding to the fan, the popular On-Air Personality said her breast milk production stopped abruptly after three weeks.
The fan asked: “Why aren’t you breastfeeding?”
Toke replied: “Cos my breast milk output stopped after 3 weeks. Any other question??”
In August, GISTSMATE MEDIA reported that Toke Makinwa announced the birth of her first child.
She announced on her Instagram page describing the experience as the happiest moment of her life.
She wrote, “I”m a Mommy. This is the happiest I’ve ever been.
“My precious daughter, the love I never knew existed, my heart in another human being, my love.
“I have seen the goodness of God in my life time. I have seen God move and I no longer just hear of it, I see it. It ended in praise, My miracle is here.”
She revealed that her daughter has been named Yakira Eliana Olakitan Iyanuoluwa Ikeoluwa Adunola, adding that her arrival was a testimony of God’s goodness.
