Esther Raphael recently broke the internet when her adult content went viral and it was revealed she became a porn star as a university undergraduate, even when her parents thought she was serious with her studies on campus.
It was also noted that Esther took a decision to become a porn star because Nigeria failed her.
However, the 25-year-old lady who hails from Akwa Ibom State, has come out in two separate videos firing from all cylinders, in which she revealed so much about herself.
While Esther affirmed she was a porn star, she said she never became a porn star because Nigeria failed her, adding that it was a personal decision she took. And she stands by that decision.
“I am educated. I made a decision and I stand by that decision. I studied Biochemistry but I created a life that I wanted on my own terms. My choice wasn’t about lack. It was about freedom. It was about having control. Yes, about money, too. Because let’s be honest, I have bills.
“Most of you know me, the viral version of me, the trending topic, the B.Sc. graduate who Nigeria failed, who became a porn star. You’ve seen the post, you’ve heard the lies. They call me a fraud. They say I’m living a double life. They have dragged my name like they know me. But the truth is they really don’t.
“But here is what people don’t get. I am not hiding it. Honestly, I am showing exactly how I want to show up. I can be both soft and strong. I can be sexual and I can also be smart,” Esther maintained.
“I am Didee. I am a remote social media manager and content creator. A Biochemistry graduate and a woman building her soft care brand from scratch. Yes, the same girl that has been trending online for being an adult content creator,” she introduced herself in one of the videos.
“I am not defending myself. I am saying my truth. I am only owning my own truth. Nobody else knows my truth. Only me.”

She had a very strict Christian upbringing. “I was brought up in an upright Christian community… We were brought up in such a way that the only place we went outside the house, apart from school, was to go to church,” she said.
She had her post-primary education at Methodist Senior Science College, Oron, where she was the Assistant Senior Prefect.
She studied Biochemistry at the University of Uyo.
But she wasn’t prepared for life after university. “Another update is that I finished university, right. I graduated. And the funniest and craziest thing is that nobody prepares you for that. After that what next? Life after university was just giving what I ordered is not what I got… Guys, nothing actually prepares you for how hard or how difficult life can be after university,” she confessed.
She was initially based in Abuja but had to relocate to Lagos after she ended the relationship with her boyfriend, whom she said was fond of ghosting her. She initially planned to stay in Lagos for two weeks. Then it turned to five months.
Unable to cope with the hustle and bustle of Lagos, she moved back to Abuja. According to her, “Lagos drained me.” But her stay in Abuja didn’t last long. She relocated again to Lagos in 2024, where she currently resides.
She operates at Lekki Phase One axis in Lagos.
She describes herself as a remote social media manager and a full-time adult content creator. “I love all things skincare, soft life, I’m in the process of building a soft-care brand for women like me who are in their twenties and still trying to figure out life, still trying to grow, trying to look good, trying to just navigate their twenties,” she said.
When her adult content flooded the internet, her parents and family were so shocked and embarrassed she couldn’t communicate with them for a long time. She also lost some of her friends, while others stood with her. “It wasn’t a joke for my family. It took years for me to start talking to my parents,” she revealed.
