A commercial bank branch experienced security scares when a suspected intruder allegedly snuck in through a restroom and hid in the ceiling overnight.
The incident, which has led to widespread online discussion, is raising serious concerns about bank security protocols.
It was reported that the individual entered the bank during business hours.
He then discreetly locked himself inside the restroom before reportedly crawling into the ceiling.
There, he remained concealed until all bank staff had left for the day.
The startling discovery was made the following morning with employees arriving for work found the bank’s main entrance mysteriously locked from the inside.
After forcing their way in, they reportedly found the man attempting to tamper with the bank’s computer systems.
According to reports, some of the bank’s computers displayed unusual messages like “restarting, click ok to accept” when powered on.
While authorities have not yet released an official statement, footage believed to be from the incident has rapidly circulated online.
