Lagos Mainland Local Government, under the leadership of Executive Chairman, Mayor Emilagba Jubril Kolawole, on Friday, 5th December 2025, warmly welcomed Imisioluwa Ayanwale, winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, during her official homecoming to Ebute-Metta (West) at the Council Secretariat.
In his address, the Executive Chairman described Imisioluwa as a source of inspiration for womanhood and a youth worthy of emulation.
He commended her exemplary conduct throughout the reality show, noting that she has brought immense pride to Lagos Mainland and Lagos State at large. He prayed for her continued success in all future endeavors.
During the ceremony, the Executive Chairman presented her with an Award of Honour in recognition of her efforts in promoting Nigerian culture and heritage on a global stage, and for being a shining light from Ebute-Metta whose achievements continue to inspire Lagos Mainland LG.
Also speaking, the APC Central Youth Leader representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Hon. Dr. Matti Bibire Eshinlokun applauded her discipline, exemplary character, and the positive values she exhibited throughout the competition.
The Youth Leader and APC Ambassador for Lagos Mainland, Hon. Dr. Bashiru Abisoye Emilagba described Imisioluwa as a role model for young people, noting that she maintained high moral standards, “went, saw, and conquered,” while represent community with dignity.
The Majority Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Oluwaseyi Adelakun emphasized the importance of recognizing young achievers who distinguish themselves nationally. She advised Imisioluwa to remain focused, maintain proper documentation, and continuously invest in her personal and professional growth.
Delivering his goodwill message, the Senior Special Assistant on Youth and Sports to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Adeboye Adeyinka (Sulu Authority) affirmed that Imisioluwa has become an ambassador in her own right. He encouraged her to aim higher and assured her that even greater opportunities lie ahead.
The event concluded with a photo session, a symbolic immunization exercise performed by Imisioluwa as the honoree, and the presentation of souvenirs. She was also presented with Ounje Emi, the Council’s monthly palliative package, as a gesture of goodwill and to further showcase the Chairman’s ongoing commitment to supporting residents.
