TRENDING VIDEO: Mahama Refers To Tinubu As Ghana’s President During Inaugural Address

In what can only be described as an unforgettable moment of human error, President John Dramani Mahama inadvertently referred to Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu as the “President of Ghana” during his inauguration speech on January 7, 2025.

This slip of the tongue not only drew laughter but also sparked a wave of discussions across social media and news platforms.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu is in Accra, Ghana, for the inauguration of President-elect John Mahama on January 7, 2025.

Tinubu arrived at the Kotoka International Airport and was received by the chief of staff to Ghana President, Julius Debra.

Mahama, who served as the 12th president of Ghana between 2011 and 2017, was reelected in December 2024. He will succeed President Nana Akuffo-Addo (2017-2025).
