A domestic disagreement turned deadly in Bauchi State as a 25-year-old man, Adamu Abdullahi, allegedly killed his father, Abdullahi Musa, during a heated argument in Rumbuna village, Giade Local Government Area.
The tragic incident, which happened around 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, was shared by security analyst, Zagazola Makama in a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday.
According to the post, Adamu used a hoe to strike his 60-year-old father on the head during the altercation.
The victim collapsed immediately and suffered serious head injuries.
āPolice officers from the Giade Division quickly arrived at the scene and rushed the injured man to the General Hospital in Giade. Unfortunately, he was confirmed dead while receiving treatment,āMakama wrote.
The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested the suspect, and an investigation is currently ongoing at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
