Students of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Potiskum, Yobe State, have called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider assigning greater national responsibilities to Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda further.
The students described Hon. Ja’oji as a focused and result-oriented young leader with a verifiable track record of service delivery, noting his strong digital competence and capacity to effectively execute public responsibilities.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Stakeholders Forum, Amb. Aminu Habibu, the group said the appeal was informed by Hon. Ja’oji’s outstanding performance within a short period as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership.
The statement highlighted the impact of his recent National Orientation Programme, which empowered underprivileged Nigerians with financial support, laptops, and other productive tools.
According to the students, Hon. Ja’oji’s humanitarian interventions and community development efforts evidenced by his conferment with the traditional title of Adon Garin Kasar Hausa demonstrate his alignment with the vision of the Tinubu administration.
They further urged President Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu to consider him for a higher executive role that would enable him to scale his contributions and deliver broader, long-term national impact.
The group also noted that Hon. Ja’oji, a prominent youth leader, philanthropist, and politician from Kano State, has facilitated the disbursement of over ₦300 million in grants, empowering thousands of youths and women, while also supporting educational advancement and vocational development.
His interventions include direct financial support to small-scale entrepreneurs, youth empowerment initiatives, scholarship programmes, and the provision of vocational tools such as motorcycles, sewing machines, and agricultural equipment. He has also supported humanitarian efforts through Ramadan interventions and sponsorship of Umrah pilgrimage for community members.
Hon. Ja’oji currently serves as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, and is a Council Member of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Potiskum.
He previously served as Special Adviser on Mobilization to the Governor of Kano State and remains an influential voice in youth development across Northern Nigeria.
The students reaffirmed their confidence in his leadership capacity and expressed optimism that greater responsibilities would enable him to contribute more significantly to national development.
