Regina Daniels’ Medical Report Emerges, Tested Positive For Cocaine (Photos)

A detailed medical report has emerged alleging that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, wife of Senator Ned Nwoko, has been battling severe substance abuse involving cocaine, marijuana, alcohol and other hard drugs.

The report, issued by Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja and signed by its Managing Director/Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Adekunle Adesina, covers her detoxification programme from September 9 to October 15, 2025. It indicates that Daniels tested positive for multiple psychoactive substances, including marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates and high levels of alcohol.

According to the document, the hospital’s psychological emergency unit was called to the Nwoko residence on September 23, when Daniels had reportedly not slept for 48 hours and was “visibly aggressive”. She was said to have been engaged in a heated argument with her husband and mother on arrival.

The report noted that Daniels presented with verbal aggression, anger, agitation, and incongruent affect, with her mood described as “elated and evasive.” She was diagnosed with substance use disorder, prompting the commencement of home-based detoxification on September 24.

According to POLITICS NIGERIA, the Family members were invited to assist with the treatment, with the hospital warning that relatives who also used drugs should stay away from the actress to avoid jeopardising her recovery.

Withdrawal Symptoms and Challenges
The hospital outlined several challenges encountered during the detox process, including:

Despite some mental stability, the report concluded that Daniels had made little progress in substance withdrawal because she “still has access to psychoactive substances, hence frustrating the process.”

The hospital recommended stricter monitoring, avoidance of high-risk environments, and regular psychotherapy sessions to strengthen the detoxification effort.

Senator Nwoko, who represents Delta North, had earlier accused the actress of heavy drug use, sharing clips online which he said showed damage she allegedly caused to his property.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the lawmaker said: “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life.”

He denied accusations of domestic violence, insisting he had “other wives and none have ever accused me of violence,” adding that Daniels had allegedly assaulted staff and destroyed valuables recently.

Nwoko further claimed that the actress was being influenced by “drug suppliers” whom he identified as Sammy and another person he described as “tiny evil devil called Ann.”

– Regina Daniels Responds
Daniels, while admitting to earlier substance use, said the real issue was “domestic violence and attempts by Nwoko to isolate her from loved ones.”

She accused the senator of sending thugs after her, saying she had endured years of mistreatment.

“Ned sent thugs to attack me. I’m nothing in Ned’s house, but in my house, I’m a queen. I can’t stand the violence anymore. It’s too much,” she said.
