Indigenes of Zamfara state resident in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja while protesting about Bad Governance have calked on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to declare state of emergency in Zamfara state following perceived state sponsored banditry and terrorism activities in the state.
The Youths under the Aegis of Zamfara Youth Alliance, FCT chapter called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to investigate the collaborative activities of the Zamfara state Governor, Dauda Lawal, Aminu Sani Jaji who is a member of the federal house of representatives and some Bandit kingpins such as Turji Bello and others.
The youths complained that the level of insecurity in Zamfara state is so alarming as they have lost their loved ones at home already to Banditry and terrorism.
“We can no longer go home, Aminu Sani Jaji is sponsoring insecurity because he wasn’t elected speaker of house of Reps. Tinubu ensure our lives are protected in Zamfara”, as they sang in Procession.
The youths accused Governor Dauda of releasing Bandits and Terrorist earlier arrested and imprisoned by the past administration.
